Our Story
Kosy Jewels began in a small Melbourne studio with a simple belief: that jewellery should feel personal, be made well, and last a lifetime.
The Maker
I started making jewellery in my kitchen in 2019, mostly for friends who wanted something that felt a little more considered than what they could find in a shopping centre. Word spread, and what began as a hobby became something I couldn't stop doing.
Today I work from a small studio in Melbourne's inner north. Every piece is made by me — shaped, soldered, polished, and packaged. I don't outsource. I don't mass produce. I make things slowly, and I make them well.
My work is influenced by the natural world — the way light moves through water, the texture of stone, the quiet geometry of a seed pod. I want each piece to feel like it belongs to the person wearing it.
What we stand for
Every piece is shaped, soldered, and finished by hand in our Melbourne studio. No two are exactly alike.
We use recycled gold fill and ethically sourced stones wherever possible, because beautiful things shouldn't cost the earth.
Gold fill is 100× more gold than gold plate. Our pieces are made to be worn every day, for years.
We design for the moments that matter — birthdays, anniversaries, milestones — and the quiet everyday ones too.
How it's made
01
Every piece starts as a sketch. I work through proportions, textures, and how a piece will feel on the body before I touch any metal.
02
Gold fill wire and sheet are cut, shaped by hand, and soldered together. This is the slow part — and the part I love most.
03
Each piece is tumbled, hand-polished, and inspected before it leaves the studio. If it doesn't feel right, it goes back to the bench.
